Sky Labs’ CART BP Integrates with Kakao Healthcare’s PASTA to Launch Blood Pressure Management Service

The blood pressure management service within the PASTA app can be used immediately after purchasing CART BP through the ‘PASTA Mall’ and syncing the device

Sky Labs (CEO Jack Byunghwan Lee) announced on the 1st that it has officially launched a blood pressure management service by integrating its ring-type blood pressure monitor, ‘CART BP,’ with Kakao Healthcare’s (CEO Hee Hwang) AI-based mobile health management solution, ‘PASTA.’

The core of this integration is to provide a personalised blood pressure management experience optimised for users by combining Sky Labs’ medical-grade ring-type blood pressure monitor with PASTA’s AI analysis technology.

In particular, users can now view blood pressure data measured by CART BP on the same screen as their daily data in the PASTA app, including diet records logged with AI Food Shot (a Vision AI-powered food recognition feature), exercise intensity, sleep, and stress. This enables them to more intuitively understand how different lifestyle patterns correlate with fluctuations in their blood pressure.

With the addition of blood pressure data to PASTA’s existing glucose-centred daily recording and management experience, users can now compare changes in blood glucose, lifestyle habits, and blood pressure together. The company expects this to help users design and maintain management routines tailored to their specific needs.

The service is also simple to use. The blood pressure management service within the PASTA app can be used immediately after purchasing CART BP through the ‘PASTA Mall’ and syncing the device.

CART BP is a ring-type blood pressure monitoring device that has received medical device approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in South Korea. Its strengths include reduced discomfort compared to traditional cuff-based (arm-compression) blood pressure monitors and a design that enables blood pressure data collection during daily activities and sleep.

Jack Byunghwan Lee, CEO of Sky Labs, said, “The integration of CART BP and PASTA marks a pivotal moment where blood pressure management expands from simple ‘measurement’ to ‘daily data-driven management.’” He added, “Based on our unparalleled bio-signal monitoring technology, we will continue to grow as a global healthcare company that enhances the efficiency of healthcare environments worldwide and contributes to reducing medical costs.”
