21st April, 2025

● The rebrand enables Singapore-based healthcare providers to tap on HealthMetrics’ extensive international and Indonesian client base and drive inbound medical travel ● This initiative will bolster Singapore’s medical hub ambitions, especially as Indonesia currently makes up for more than half of Singapore’s inbound medical tourists

HealthMetrics, a leading digital Third-party Administrator (TPA) in Southeast Asia, has broadened its regional presence with the official launch of HealthMetrics Indonesia, which unites HealthMetrics’ advanced digital infrastructure with the expertise of Across Asia Assist Indonesia (AAA), its acquired partner since 2022. The launch marks a major milestone in unifying the HealthMetrics brand and paves the way for over 850 Singapore healthcare providers on the platform, such as HMI Surgery Centre, to gain access to HealthMetrics’ extensive client base in Indonesia and across the region.

For over a decade, AAA has supported millions of Indonesians through its role as a TPA and international medical service provider, serving insurance clients in the region such as Allianz, AXA and Tokio Marine. The launch will leverage HealthMetrics’ next-generation digital infrastructure to offer faster, smarter and more seamless healthcare administration for insurers, corporations, healthcare providers, and members in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.

In line with the brand’s vision to build a globally connected healthcare system, HealthMetrics allows Singapore healthcare providers to extend their client base beyond its borders, and tap into a wider regional clientele base from its existing pool of over 100 insurance clients and 3,000 corporate clients such as AXA, Allianz and Tokio Marine in Indonesia. Patients from across the region can easily locate and access Singaporean healthcare services through the HealthMetrics Global Member App – which provides real-time claims submission and tracking, and streamlines guarantee letter requests for cashless admissions and assistance. To enable seamless cross-border care, the HealthMetrics International Assistance Hub extends across more than 15,000 direct billing providers regionally to
streamline coordination across stakeholders.

“We see ourselves not just as a digital TPA – but as a regional enabler of smarter, connected healthcare ecosystems. We are creating a unified platform that connects healthcare providers, insurers, corporates, and members in a streamlined manner,” said Alvin Yuan, Group CEO, HealthMetrics Group. “We are also actively onboarding Singapore-based healthcare providers as part of our efforts to develop a connected healthcare ecosystem, so as to build a stronger medical tourism network for the region.”

This commitment to smarter digital solutions was brought to life at HealthMetrics Spotlight 2025, held in Jakarta yesterday, which brought together over 100 of the country’s most influential leaders from the healthcare, insurance, employee benefits, and corporate sectors. The event served as a dynamic platform to explore the future of healthcare administration in Indonesia, highlighting the vital role of digital-first infrastructure in improving access, efficiency, and quality of care for all Indonesians.

Underscoring the collaborative spirit, the event was supported by HealthMetrics’ Singapore- based healthcare partners such as Curie Oncology and Forte Cardiology, underscoring the importance of cross-border partnerships in advancing a connected, borderless healthcare experience for Indonesian corporates, insurers, and members, while also creating new opportunities for Singapore to attract inbound patients.

HealthMetrics has also launched three flagship solutions in Indonesia in conjunction with the rebranding – the HealthMetrics Cloud Platform, Global Member App and International Assistance Hub – underscoring its commitment to providing accessible healthcare to all through innovation. These digital solutions are driving a new era of scalable, intelligent and patient-centric healthcare administration for patients in the region with greater efficiency, transparency and access to care both locally and across borders.

The new HealthMetrics Cloud Platform in Indonesia leverages the brand’s award-winning ISO27001-certified Cloud Platform to connect insurers, corporates and providers for the management of domestic and international policies and benefits. Designed to facilitate the delivery of efficient and quality care, the platform offers features such as instant member enrolment, AI-driven claims processing, fraud detection, cost containment and real-time data analytics.

“Our focus is not just on digitalisation – but building intelligent digital solutions to bring cost savings, transparency, and control to all stakeholders in the healthcare journey,” said Advent Phang, Group CTO, HealthMetrics Group.

Technology continues to remain at the core of HealthMetrics’ goal of creating a borderless healthcare ecosystem with the advanced digital infrastructure to ensure patient journeys are seamless from claims to post-treatment care. Since its establishment in 2015, HealthMetrics has grown rapidly into a leading digital TPA with a strong presence in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. It has plans to continue accelerating its growth in Southeast Asia over the next few years through strategic      partnerships with stakeholders across the region and is on track to exceed US$1 billion in cumulative medical treatments by the end of 2025.
