Chinese MedTech Leader Highlights Inclusive Solutions and Global Collaboration at World Health Assembly Side Event

The World Health Assembly (WHA) 2025 side event, “Chinese Medical Technology Innovation and Its Implications for Global Health,” served as a vital platform for dialogue among global health leaders, innovators, and policymakers. Co-hosted by Tsinghua University and the University of Geneva, the gathering highlighted China’s growing role in advancing medical technology to improve healthcare access in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
