The International Healthcare Dialogue (IHD) 2026, hosted by Apollo Hospitals, will be held on 30–31 January 2026 in Hyderabad. A key highlight of this year’s edition will be Safe-A-Thon, a nationwide movement to identify, accelerate, and invest in India’s most breakthrough patient-safety innovations.

Powered by BIORx Venture Advisors and Indian Healthcare Angels, Safe-A-Thon is a multi-phase programme that begins in December 2025 with a series of regional hybrid hackathons to surface early-stage solutions that address real patient-safety gaps. Shortlisted teams from these rounds will advance to the Grand Pitching Event at IPSC 2026, where finalists will present their innovations before a panel of clinicians, technologists, and healthcare industry leaders.

This edition of Safe-A-Thon, curated by BIORx Venture Advisors as the Safe-A-Thon Partner, with Indian Healthcare Angels supporting the Investment track, promises to offer a seamless journey for innovators, from early screening and mentorship to national-level visibility at IHD 2026.

Safe-A-Thon will convene innovators, practitioners, investors, and policymakers to spark a system-wide conversation on patient safety in India. By placing innovation at the centre of Apollo Hospitals’ flagship platform, the event underscores Apollo’s commitment to strengthening safety standards and shaping the future of healthcare delivery across the country.
