For training & research in basic and advanced interventional gastroenterology
Fujifilm India has formalised a partnership with Department of Gastroenterology, Yashoda Group of Hospitals, Hyderabad for establishing training and research facility. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Dr A.Lingaiah, Director Medical Services, Yashoda Group of Hospitals; Tatsuhiko Saeki, Global Head of Endoscopy Division, Fujifilm Corporation, Tokyo; Dheeraj Chaudhri, Head of the Department Fujifilm India; and Tomosuke Okada, Japanese Advisor, Fujifilm India.
This training facility at one of the most prestigious institutes will help the gastroenterologists enhance their skills in basic and advanced gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy including Endoscopic Ultrasound procedures. The centre will also provide comprehensive training and observership programmes to doctors from the Asia Pacific Region.
The centre actively conducts clinical research in pancreatic and biliary disorders, early detection of pancreatic cancer, advanced imaging modalities, bariatric endoscopy, and novel endoscopic devices. In addition, the programme is committed to the training of GI fellows and advanced endoscopy fellows.
This strategic partnership will support training and clinical research activities in collaboration with all the branches of Yashoda Group with a vision of raising patient care standards in the country. Fujifilm India Endoscopy Division aims to strengthen the health standards of the country and empower the healthcare professionals improve patient outcomes with world class training facilities and latest technologies in the country.
