Apollo Hospitals, Roche Diagnostics Partner to Advance AI-Driven Clinical Care

The MoU sets the stage for future collaboration, ensuring that digital innovation is applied responsibly and effectively at scale

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd., Asia’s leading integrated healthcare provider, has announced an initiative to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) better to foster innovation, enhance patient care, and expedite clinical processes. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Roche Diagnostics India Pvt. Ltd. during THIT 2026, Apollo’s global health technology platform, underscoring the commitment of both organisations to accelerate digital transformation in clinical care.

At the heart of this collaboration is Roche’s navify Algorithm Suite, an advanced, cloud-based platform for clinical decision support that will be deployed with Apollo clinical systems to generate patient-centric insights, support early diagnosis of complex diseases, and improve efficiency of clinical workflows through Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said, “At Apollo, we have always believed in harnessing the power of innovation to transform patient outcomes. This collaboration with Roche Diagnostics marks another step forward in our journey to embed advanced digital tools into clinical care. By combining Apollo’s clinical expertise with Roche’s digital innovation, we aim to accelerate early diagnosis, streamline clinical workflows, and improve quality of life for patients.”

Testing and validation of the respective algorithms will be explored in real-world clinical settings. Apollo will explore research and validation activities across its innovation and research centres, while Roche Diagnostics will contribute its platform capabilities, integration support, and global expertise in diagnostics. The MoU sets the stage for future collaboration, ensuring that digital innovation is applied responsibly and effectively at scale.

Rishubh Gupta, Managing Director, Roche Diagnostics India, added, "Our collaboration with Apollo Hospitals combines clinical excellence with diagnostic innovation, accelerating the adoption of AI-powered healthcare solutions. By transforming vast healthcare data into actionable insights, we enable physicians to deliver care that is more precise, timely, personalised, and accessible to millions."
