This year the theme for World Radiography Day is ‘Radiographers: Seeing the Unseen’ underscoring the role played by radiographers in visualising conditions which are invisible to the naked eye, utilising advanced imaging techniques. The day is also recognised as the International Day of Radiology (IDoR), which is an initiative launched in 2012 by many key international radiological societies for raising awareness about the importance of medical imaging in modern healthcare.
