Sebia India Collaborates with CAHO to Launch Autoimmunity Masterclass Series to Strengthen Early Diagnosis and Clinical Excellence

India Sebia, in collaboration with CAHO Diagnostic Division, is proud to announce the launch of the Autoimmunity Masterclass Series—a six-part academic webinar initiative aimed at advancing the understanding, early diagnosis, and clinical management of autoimmune diseases.

In recent years, particularly in the post-COVID era, there has been a noticeable rise in autoimmune conditions, often presenting with complex and overlapping clinical manifestations. A matched cohort study published in Clinical Rheumatology journal in 2023 involving over 640,000 patients reported approximately a 40–45% increased risk of developing autoimmune diseases within the first year following COVID-19 infection.

Addressing this growing challenge, the Masterclass Series is designed as a comprehensive platform bringing together clinicians, laboratory specialists, and healthcare professionals across disciplines.

The series will cover key areas including autoimmune connective tissue diseases, Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Gastroenterological autoimmune disorders, Celiac disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and related conditions. Each session is curated by expert panel to provide a balanced perspective on disease spectrum, diagnostic challenges, and evolving clinical practices, ensuring meaningful knowledge exchange and practical insights.

The initiative comprises six webinars spread across the year, aligned with relevant medical awareness themes to maximize engagement and clinical relevance.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Nitin Wadhwa, General Manager, Sebia India, said:

"This collaboration reflects our commitment to strengthening clinical and lab awareness in improving diagnostic pathways in autoimmunity. Through this structured masterclass series, we aim to bridge knowledge gaps and support clinicians in managing increasingly complex autoimmune cases more effectively."

Dr. Aparna Jairam, Chairperson, CAHO Diagnostic Division added:

"Autoimmune diseases require a multidisciplinary approach for timely diagnosis and management. This series is a step towards creating a unified learning platform where experts can share insights and enhance patient care outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem."

With this initiative, Sebia and CAHO Diagnostic Division reaffirm their shared vision of advancing education, fostering collaboration, and improving patient outcomes in the field of autoimmunity.
