Fresenius Medical Care has introduced TherapyWise, a cloud-based analytics capability for kidney replacement therapy in acute and hospital critical care settings.
The tool is available within NxView 4.0, the company’s FDA 510(k)-cleared software platform for use with the NxStage System One in the United States. TherapyWise is designed to provide retrospective, programme-level insights into therapy delivery across ICU units and time periods.
Kidney replacement therapy in intensive care generates large volumes of clinical and operational data. Without standardised metrics and aggregated views, hospital teams may find it difficult to track therapy delivery, workflow interruptions and alarm frequency across patients, units and shifts.
TherapyWise securely transmits data from the NxStage System One with NxView to a cloud-based platform. It then aggregates information across predefined performance indicators, including average delivered dose compared with set dose, average treatment time per cartridge and alarm frequency trends.
The platform is intended for hospital and clinical leaders overseeing kidney replacement therapy programmes. It gives teams a structured way to review variability, identify trends and support quality improvement discussions.
TherapyWise is part of Fresenius Medical Care’s broader critical care portfolio, which combines digital infrastructure, clinical expertise and secure data management for hospital teams managing kidney replacement therapy.
