“Thyrocare reported a strong performance this quarter, driven by continued focus on operational efficiency, network expansion, and value-driven diagnostics. During the period, we also strengthened our specialty portfolio with the addition of allergy testing and entry into genomics through the launch of NIPT, with a phased expansion of the test menu underway. Thyrocare continues to expand its reach in underserved regions and scale its franchise and partner network, while remaining committed to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare services across India,” said Guha.

Thyrocare processed 55.2 million tests during the quarter, representing a 28 per cent year-on-year increase and reinforcing its position as India’s largest diagnostic test volume processor.

The company also reported continued improvements in quality and operational performance. Complaints declined 24 per cent year-on-year to 3.1 per million tests, while the average turnaround time (ATAT) stood at 3.37 hours from sample receipt. Thyrocare said this makes it the first diagnostic chain in India to achieve this benchmark.

As part of its next phase of growth, Thyrocare has expanded into Specialty Diagnostics, beginning with allergy testing and genomics. The company has launched Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) and is progressively expanding its specialty test portfolio, with a focus on clinical trust, scientific rigour, quality and turnaround times.

The company is also expanding its franchise and partner network, particularly in underserved regions, while continuing to strengthen its pathology and specialty diagnostics offerings across India.
